Via Arte Italian Street Painting Festival

This was the 10th annual Via Arte Italian Street Painting Festival. I was unenthused about going, but I finally dragged out Sunday around 5PM. I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t expect such grand art with colored chalk in a parking lot. I was very impressed and inspired by what I saw. The Via Arte Festival is an annual event located at The Marketplace. For more information contact the Bakersfield Museum of Art.

This program implemented by the Bakersfield Museum of Art is always a great source of entertainment and activity for a weekend of fun. The art is always very impressive and worth the trip to the Market Place. I look forward to it each year and will try to have our organization sponsor a particpant in the coming years.
